Ian Everett

Ian is a Director and owner of CLE and has been with the business since 1996. Ian has a very broad range of skills and experience offering Clients high level expertise in key areas including subdivision and urban design, district and local structure planning, statutory planning and master planning of urban development projects.

Ian is the project planner on many of CLE’s larger urban projects where experience and knowledge is of paramount importance in securing outcomes that are both timely and of the highest standards. Delivery of these projects typically requires Ian’s involvement in a large team structure, balancing multiple technical inputs and an ability to communicate and negotiate complex outcomes with the decision making authorities. Ian’s approach to planning is one which focuses on quality design and commercial outcomes for his Clients – an overall approach and attitude which reflects in the operation of CLE.



Jane Bennett

Jane is a Director and owner of CLE with experience in local government and private practice. She has led the delivery of successful outcomes on major urban development and built form projects across the breadth of CLE’s portfolio from inception to construction. Jane has been instrumental in securing often difficult approvals to complex projects by working closely with decision making authorities, stakeholders and clients, building positive and collaborative relationships. Her approach is focussed strongly on achieving quality, innovative & commercial outcomes.

Jane has a Bachelor of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning, a Masters in Business Administration and an Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) Diploma. Jane was appointed a member of the Western Australian Planning Commission in 2016 and a Director of Landcorp and the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority Boards in January 2018. Jane is has been actively involved in the industry as a long term member of UDIA WA Council and is currently chair of the UDIA Planning Committee. Jane was made a Fellow of the Planning Institute of Australia in November 2015 for her contribution to planning.
